Councilman’s son swimming to Stanford (Columbia Star)
Payne “Mack” Montgomery, a senior at Cannon School in Concord, North Carolina, has signed a letter of intent to enroll at Stanford on a swimming scholarship. Mack is from Columbia and attended Spring Valley High before enrolling at Cannon for his senior year in order to continue training with swimming coach David Marsh at SwimMac in Charlotte.
